Argyll and Bute Museums and Heritage Forum (ABMHF) is to present its first conference on Tuesday October 1st 2019 at the Coran Halls in Oban. The Forum was established to provide support for volunteers and professionals in the heritage sector focusing on Argyll and Bute (there are other forums around Scotland). The Forum has delivered training sessions on many aspects of heritage work including paleography, archiving, photograph identification, handling objects. Even the smallest museum or heritage organisation benefits from membership of ABMHF, so to find out more about what we can do to help and support you and the hundreds of other volunteers and professions, like you, make a date to join us in Oban. It’s free and we would be delighted to see you.
