Dun Ban Fort

Dun Ban occupies the summit of a  rocky plateau, which is situated about 400m SSW of Quinish Point. Access to the summit may be obtained across a narrow col on the east side, but an all other sides the plateau is protected by steep, almost vertical rock-faces varying between 7m and 13m in height. Several stretches of the outer facing stones remain which suggest that the wall once had a thickness of 3 metres.
