We’re off to Lismore for our outing on Friday 7th June. We’ll be leaving Mull on the 08:40 ferry from Craignure and we’ll need to car share to keep costs down, plus parking at the Appin Ferry terminal is limited. It’s a foot ferry so no cars. Please email Anne: mull.h.and.a.s@gmail.com or Mary: phillipsforth@mac.com for more information or to offer places in your car for non-drivers. You can take a packed lunch or eat in the cafe at the Lismore Gaelic Heritage Centre. You can visit the Cathedral church of Lismore or Castle Coeffin or just spend time in the Centre. The choice is yours.

As ever, if you plan to walk out to the castle you will need sensible footwear (sorry to nag, again!) as the track is not very good.  However, the Cathedral Church is beautiful and will be well worth a visit. Our friend Clare Ellis has recently undertaken a dig on Lismore with exciting results which you will be able to find out more about in the Centre.

We’ll send out more information as we gather it. See you on the 7th!
